D100 and Number of shots taken=EXIF data.

Discussion in 'General Technical Discussion' started by GeoKost, Apr 16, 2007.

  1. Do the number of shots taken show up in the EXIF data of the D100?

I can get it to show in my D50 and D200 but no on my D100. I am using OPANDA 2.25 and have just tried EXIF Viewer 2 with neither showing it.

I just got a D100 and was checking the shutter actuations.

    Thanks in advance,

I don't think there's anyway of checking the number of shots released on the D100 except to send it to the folks at Nikon for them to tell you.

  3. Well I'll be. Thanks for the information Jason.

  4. The D100 doesn't have that information in the EXIF data. I both the D100 and D200. When I noticed it on the D200, I looked for it on the D100. It simply is not there. Remember that the D100 was released in early 2002 and is now five years old.
  5. Thank you for the information Walter.

Seems as though there was a prog to find that out. It had to be shot jpg.
I remember Paul aka Month Dog telling me how to do it.
But I do not remember what it was or where the thread is.

    In fact haven't seen Paul.
    Hope he is Ok.
