D200 diary day 6: London

Discussion in 'Photojournalism, Candids and Street Photography' started by Ming Thein, Dec 26, 2005.

  1. With 18-200VR. I dropped the whole thing about a meter onto a hard tile floor in the john by accident  ; no damage but a cracked filter ring. (Hey, they didn't give me a filter, lens hood or neck strap!) Everything works fine...I've also noticed that this thing has great b&w tonality; as good as D2H - this was probably the main thing that stopped me from buying the D2x.

    Enjoy!

Being a woman, I like "Be Beers" for obvious reasons! I also think "Yellow" is rather stunning.

  7. Beautiful, Ming. Love Gutter Church.

  8. Thanks guys. Oddly, Gutter Church doesn't work if you turn it upside down - i.e. the right way up - not sure why, but it does...
