If i set my bracketing up to take "x" amount of shots, I can then use those images to setup an HDR photo right? obviously i would need some PP to combine the images but that is how i would go about getting the actual images correct?

Hi,
yes that is probably the fastest and easiest way to get the shots for HDR. You could bracket manually too, but it is not nearly as convenient.

My HDR process is long and time consuming. Oh and that was my first HDR.

Awesome. Where abouts do you live? as it says you too reside in this fine state.

I have only seen Mt. Evans from a distance. So awesome picture

I am heading there tomorrow - I will be staying in Aurora, CO

I have a father-in-law that will be arranging our sightseeing, but we will definitely get to Estes Park again (we went last year)

I think for the landscape shots, I will definitely try out bracketing...for the first time

You might want to check out Photomatix if you are really into HDR pics. $99.
