My D200 came in this afternoon from CC and after a quick read
of the manual I shot this panorama of Manhattan from
Weehawken NJ. This camera looks like its going to be a lot of fun.

    Settings - normal ballhead/tripod. iso 100, 3 sec f/8, RAW
70-200VR @ 125mm. manual matrix metering, incad WB,
12 vertical images stitched with PTgui 5.4 and post processed in PSCS

Subscribe to see EXIF info for this image (if available)

    Here's version 2 - 6 horizontal image, 10sec f8 panorama.

WOW...I'm wondering how much wall space you have left to display such beautiful photography. I have never seen you take a mediocre image, Robert. Just gorgeous!

    Hi Robert

That is a fabtastic example of what the camera can do.

Fantastic shot(s) on your part - for me, just stunning.

I do however have one very small but niggling problem...............

Hi Gale, Frits, Patrick Bramlett, Dmwphoto, Jczinn, RForshey, Pa, Ming Thein, Kevin Scott, Dbirdsong, Heiko, PixelPete, MGlennn, Eng45ine, RayGuselli:

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. This was an easy shot for me since I did the exact same image a couple of years ago with my D100. And I must say the main credit for my recent panos is the software. PTgui is a real gem.
I am really enjoying my new D200 but its like having a new car. I'm babying it.

Hope everyone has a Very Happy New Year !
