First I tried shots with my Nikkor 50/1.4, and found that "camera shake" was certainly an issue even at 1/60", in fact, "fuggetaboudit"!

So I switched to my 24-120VR and that helped....a whole lot. Here's Callie on a bathroom countertop - this shot is cropped quite a bit, but not nearly 100%:

Good shot Ken, what a neat cat. But, why didn't you just raise the ISO to 800 or something to get those shutter speeds up? I see you took these at the base ISO of 100.

I wanted to see how it did "out of the box". After these I changed some settings, and I have been very pleased with the results! I like the D70, but find that the D200 is absolutely better in so many ways.

Yes the shutter sound is different! I was up late playing with the new toy and tried both continous modes - Wow! Even in low light it was sooo fast!

It would be nice to go through next year without any problems, that will be my New Year's Resolution! As my gransfather would say, "I wish you double what you wish me."

That can be set with the dial on the top left side, don't forget to depress the release to turn the dial.
