    BTW:
    I just finished reading it......

    wow, everything I wanted to change on my D70:
    bigger viewfinder,
    AF-mode switch,
    a little more MP,
    Verticalgrip-option,
    weatherproof
    and finally it meters (A or M) with AI lenses and Bellows!

    if the price will be really around 1700$, it'll be a great deal!

    Let's hope it will be available soon!

    Damn, now I have got the C-lust (Camera-Lust),too......

  5. Here's a quick summary of the D200 specs from French PDF

    Imager:
    CCD 10,2 Mpix DX format
    3872 X 2592 pix
    4-channels high speed
    New low-pass filter to avoid moiré, CA and false colors
    RAW + JPEG (Fine, Normal, Basic), RAW only, JPEG
    (Fine, Normal, Basic). For each RAW+JPEG and JPEG
    «quality», 3 «sub-compression» modes (Large,
    Medium, Small)

    AF multi-CAM 1000, 11 zones, Extended AF with 7 zones -
    Selective AF, Dynamic AF, Dynamic AF with closest
    subject priority, Groupe Dynamic AF with Dynamic AF or
    Closest subject options

    ISO 100-1600, 3200 (H1)

    Metering : 3D matrix II using 1005 RGB photosites, Centerweighted, Spot (for 7-zones extended AF or 11-zones standard AF)

  9. I'm sorry I miss that in my post.

    WB : Auto using a 1005 pix RGB sensor + the other modes already mentioned

    D200 also have MLU function.
