D200: Tell the difference between 18-200VR and 85PC macro?

  1. It's closer than you think. See if you can spot which is which

Great detail in all of the shots, which is which?

  3. That's the thing. The first two are 18-200VR with extension tubes, the last two are 85PC with extension tubes. There is some slight corner softness and 1-2 px of lateral CA with the 18-200VR which is completely missing from the 85PC; a flat field macro is always a flat field macro. But what I found frightening is that the two lenses can be so close! On a D2H you probably wouldn't see the difference, or the CA.
