d200user; Debbie health update

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by Electromen, Sep 30, 2008.

  1. I started a new thread to hopefully involve more members.

Debbie Hendren, d200 user is not well, her last post HERE asks for your prayers.

She spent about ten days in the hospital after severe head aches which lasted the past several weeks. After exhaustive testing, they sent her home but still didn't have a diagnosis.

She was home less than 24 hrs and was admitted a second time to the hospital with a blood pressure of 185/160. She told me that she thought it was the end. Her second attack happened "in seconds" and sent her to Columbia Hospital.

I talked to her last night by phone.
She is not well enough to post here, although she would like to.
She asks again for your prayers and sends you her love.
To get Debbie's phone number, PM me, she'd love to hear from her friends.
If you call please remember that she is in the St Louis area time zone.

it's bad enough that shes in so much pain, it must be even worse not to know what's causing it. Sure hope she gets through all this OK.

  5. I have added her health as one of my daily prayer item.

  6. Thanks for the update Greg. Such sad news - I'll pray for her.

  11. So sorry to hear this, she's such a sweet girl. I hope she gets better soon!

  12. Greg, thanks for sharing this. It is terrible enough trying to cope with something like this, but I cannot imagine how you would cope without knowing what was causing it. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.

  13. Thank you for sharing this Greg. My prayers will be with Debbie.

  14. Please wish here well for me. My thoughts are with here.

  15. Thanks everyone for your support and prayers. When she said her blood pressure was 185/160, I had her repeat it and wrote it down. There could still have been some missed communication because those numbers are deadly. My wife's a nurse and has been taking blood pressures for 33 years, but has never seen numbers so close.

When I talked to her last night she sounded weak. I asked if it was OK to post this thread and have members PM me for a phone number. She said she'd love to hear from some of you.

I'll call her tonight and relay this thread.
