    Hi all,

I received my demo D2H from Cameta today.
Awesome body and what curves.. I am all over it.

Had a long day at work, so didn't shoot much but took a couple of shots to find out the shutter release count.

Used opanda's IExif.. it says 35 for the first shot I took.
The serial# is 202**** which probably means early 2004 camera.

Does that mean Nikon changed the shutter during refurbishing?

Thanks in advance for your replies
  2. It seems Nikon didn't change the shutter. Refurbished only means "cleaned" if you asked me.

Anyways, you have a warranty so uaw the camera like mad until it breaks. Then you can relax :)

Try the opanda software if you want to know the total actuations of the camera.
