D2H ver 1.0 still kicks butt... (D2H ala' carte images)

So I went shooting with my ex-girlfriend out to beautiful Pasadena to go visit the Norton Simon Art Museum. For those who aren't familiar with it, it's a small museum with an excellent collection and a beautiful courtyard. Students go for free (I have an old no expiration date student ID...hehe) and for a temporarily disabled guy like me, I get to ride the courtesy museum wheelchair. :)

I brought a 50mm lens and my D2H. The more I shoot with this camera the more I'm amazed. The noise characteristics are soooo natural, it does not bother me at all. Most these interior museum shots were taken anywhere from ISO 400 to ISO 1600, and all shots came out sharp and clean. I think this camera will go down in Nikon history as the most under appreciated camera that could. Anyways, I couldn't find a category to fit most these images, so I posted them here.

PS - Oh and everything was shot from my wheelchair and fixed lens, yo! haha!

To be honest, I don't know what the D2Hs is improving on...the results from the D2H when properly handled are excellent. They keep saying that the D2Hs is for jpeg shooters, but I shoot jpeg and I think the results look excellent!

Interesting perspective the chair gives you. Especially in the basement with all that buddhist stuff. These seem to have more soul than a lot of museum shots I've seen. Betcha felt humble. :|
