D2Hs Noise performance compared to D2h

    I am driving myself nuts trying to find a way not to get crappy ISO 1600 shots from my d2h at night baseball games.

    Cna anyone speak quantitativelyo n noise performance between the two, is the d2hs a full stop better (ie, does ISO 1600 look as clean as ISO 800 on the d2h)?

    I think this will answer your question, and it certainly appears that the "S" is a stop better. I'd love to have one, but will stick with the H unless Nikon has a fire sale on the Hs. If a D200 comes out with a good ISO 1600, then I'd be very interested in that.

    I have seen this one Gene, but it is a different situation,
    it is in a studio and he over-exposes and brings it back in with post, I Cannot do that in the field because of shutter speed issues,
