Hello Friends, These were obtained in the bothanical garden of Santos, Brazil, a place specialized in orchid breeding. The Toucan shot was hand-held and I could only save this one after trying more than 57 frames due to motion blur. The Crocodile eye was also a difficult one and, while you can see some fuzziness maybe due to the mirror slap, it is still a usable shot. The Micro Nikkor 200/4 is an absolutely top performer coupled with the D2X. Will post some more with de PC Micro Nikkor 85/2.8 latter. Hope you enjoy. {} {} {} {}
Really like that last image. They are very colorful birds and you have really captured a great image.
Very, very nice work, Roberto These are all excellent shots. Say, are those French ducks? :wink: They do seem to be "French" kissing! :shock:
I have to agree on the quality of the 200 micro Roberto. I have the Tamron 180, but have shot with Patrick's 200, and it is a very fine lens. Speaking of fine, these images are excellent. 8)
