D2x question

I just bought a D2x from a fellow Cafe member and it came with an extra? focusing screen. What is this for? Please don't tell me to read through the whole manual to find out.

Nikon offers a number of focusing screens for their slrs....which screen is it?

It's the B type Brite-View III focusing screen. See page 10 of the user manual.

a d2x is standard deliverd with 2 screens. One normal one and one with grid lines

Jay, I just checked mine, you are correct, the Type V came pre-installed, the Type B is in my bag. Wouldn't mind having a type E for the shooting I do.
