Hi, Tim -- really nice work & the lighting is excellent. My favorite is #5, but they are all very well done.

Best Regards,

Very nice series Tim........the fourth of your niece is the standout. That's a world class shot. The processing on your wife looks good, but I think you have gone too far on your niece's skin. If you saved the files with layers, as you always should, try dialing back the opacity of the skin softening layer about 30% or so.

Also, am I the only one to whom this entire series appears orange?

I think your niece is gorgeous. Yes it does appear a bit orange to me as well.

Cute kid! Great emotion and connection with the camera.

I'm more interested in the expressions you've captured than the details of the processing.

Well done!

No doubt the captures are excellent, but I am pretty sure Tim wants honest feedback aimed at all aspects so that he can make his shots the best they can be.

Great photos, nice light, all of them. Fantastic poses too. And I like the tight crop of your photos.
Is her skin that flawless, or did you process the smoothness?
The edge (shadow) area of her face does look orange tinted on my calibrated monitor. Maybe I need to recalibrate?

Here's an edit with the Picture controls back at "Standard" instead of "Standard Quick +1"

Beautiful photos. Thanks for sharing

Thanks Marc!

Best Regards,

Thanks John!

These are great. Your niece is a natural. What was your setup? One light and one reflector?

She's a great kid! Your correct, one W/L 1600 in a 43" softbox and one 36" reflector.

All of them are excellent! I also like #5 the most.

Thanks Matt!

Great shots, I like #5 the most.

Thanks Phil!

Great shots! I love those eyes!

Thanks, she does have some amazing eyes.
