d3 shutter in slow mo

    Whats interesting is the mirror bounce at the top of it's cycle. for those without VR, mirror lock up and cable realease, using super-telephoto's is still somtimes a nesessary link in the Image chain.

    Interesting post TGrove, thanks for showing this
    As noted by Gregory there is some significant mirror bounce which would be problematic if a tele lens was in use

    you know the one thing with slo mo is that EVERY movement seems to be over exaggerated. maybe this is the case with the mirror bounce.

    Really? I thought every movement just seems to be slowed down.

    What is clear is that the mirror bounces twice but the bouncing movement is very small though, I'd say infinitesimally small.
