D300 Blinky's

Does the D300 not have a display mode where it shows the blown highlights or 'blinky's' as they are known?

Yes it does, as you cycle through the LCD image attributes

yes it does - you need to turn it on.

its in the menu - on the "play" tab - top menu i believe ...

Took me a while to find it too but its in there... you can also turn on the RGB histogram there too

I like seeing the focus points and the blinky highlights. Just turned them both on
