D700 demo Laurel, MD July 17

Penn Camera in Laurel has a D700 demo from 5-8 on Thursday July 17.

If any local people want to have coffee and gab, let me know.

I look forward to your feedback. I had to switch my schedule at the last minute so I won't be able to make it.

I went there this evening and was really impressed with the D700. They had a Nikon rep there, and he brought a few D700's with him. That worked out well as it made it easy for everyone to be able to get their hands on them and play with them some.

The salespeople at Penn Camera said that they would be receiving their first shipments of the D700 in about a month.

Eventually, I would like to add a D700 to my arsenal. I don't know when, but someday I might make that plunge.
