D70S test drive , Raglan , NZ .

  1. I'm really enjoying my new D70S because of the metering . I took a walk this morning along the pathway at the bottom of the small town of Raglan on the west coast of new Zealand's north island .
    I really liked the way it exposed this sparrow , it almost looked like it had flash on it .

    And I liked the way it handled this lighting , my D80 would have totally blown all the highlights .

    The walkway looked like it was worth a visit ....

    and I've always wondered about this dwelling across the harbour - maybe one day I will
    visit it .

  3. Nobody seems to be too interested but this one is a picture of a shelter built in anticipation of japanese invasion during WWII ,

    Glad your enjoying your D70. I particually like the rainbow shot.

    The invasion shelter is interesting also.
