D80 auto ISO

    On the D300, when you are in auto-ISO, you can see the ISO sensitivity in the viewfinder change as you are changing shutter speeds. I may be overlooking it, but does the same thing happen in the D80?

    from my recollection
    ISO doesn't show at all in the D80 viewfinder...does it ?

    No, its not there. The pro bodies have more info in the viewfinder than the consumer models.

    I didn't think so. Just another reason to upgrade to something else.
     
  5. The only time I've seen the ISO in the viewfinder is when the camera is set to AUTO ISO.
    Auto ISO will show both in the viewfinder and on the top LCD display.

    You have to press the ISO button and look at the top LCD display to see the current ISO setting.

  6. You can set the function button to show the ISO in the viewfinder when pressed.
