I can't find any info on how this this works. I'm interested in:

    1) Obvious away from camera (although the IR remote works well for this)
    2) Bracketed shots in continuous mode (takes all three 3 bracket shots and stops), I don't think IR remote will do this (takes 3 presses)
    3) Bulb shots for star trails.

I assume it can do all these?
  2. I don't have the Nikon DC2 but I have a compatible one.

    1) yes, and doesn't require reaching round in front of the camera if you're behind it.
    2) yes, all three with continuous mode on 1 press
    3) The one I have has a lock for the button. Press the button, slide the lock forward and it's just like the old cable releases with their locking screw!
