Dahlia for our frontyard garden

Discussion in 'Macro, Flowers, Insects, and Greenery' started by daodang, Sep 15, 2005.

  1. My wife has grown several species of dahlia on each side of the front door. Each day is quite a treat to come home and see such a display of colors.

  2. The first two are really nice images with good color. The last one is special, any extra manipulation in PS?
  3. They are all nice the the third one is marvellous.
  4. Gorgeous... First one really jumps out !!

    Excellent captures!
  6. Hi Gordon,

Thanks for the appreciatiion. Yes, the last one was manipulated in PS. I changed the busy background by a graduated white with a green-blue tint one.
  7. Mike, Gilles and Jerry

    Thanks for the appreciations.

Dahlias make wonderful subjects -- their colors are so intense. I keep expecting the yellows to glow in the dark.
    Nicely done Dao.
