Daisy - shallow DOF

  1. Daisy taken using the Nikkor 105mm micro.

    Not sure whether the shallow depth of field works for you, but I quite like the softness and the gradient effect.

    Focal length : 105.0mm (35mm equivalent: 157mm)
    Exposure time : 0.017 s (1/60)
    Aperture : f/5.6
    Whitebalance : Manual (shade -2)
    Metering Mode : spot

  2. Jonathan, this is very different. I had to look at it awhile but have decided I really like it. I like the little green area in the bottom left and like you said, I too like the softness. Very unique!

    That definitely is shallow DOF....but it's nice...It reminds me of one of those personal affirmation posters that you see in Hallmark stores and such....Good job.
