Damsel & Butterflies

Discussion in 'Macro, Flowers, Insects, and Greenery' started by Winnie, Jul 8, 2007.

  1. At last I got the chance to try out the 300mm on the new Kirk collar and BH-3 ballhead in the field. All with 56mm of tubes plus cable release and mirror lockup.

Still some movement but I think that is down to a slight breeze and maybe the tripod (looking to change soon)

The ones with lower shutter speeds still have some way to go till they are absolutely sharp but I am learning the lens and really enjoying it too.

    Cheers

  2. I certainly would be pleased with them. They look very sharp to me. Nice work!

With those low shutterspeeds I would say that the movement is minimal. Especially on the two last images which are my favorites too. Looks like they were shot on a damp morning.

Thanks, it was a nice damp morning, still abd plenty of dew.

    Thanks Shellie

    Thanks.

  6. Very nice shots, Alex!

I think as Torben that movement is minimal and it´s easily due to slight breeze...

  7. Those Marbled White shots are nice.
