Damsel...

  1. I tried some more pics of dragons today, no luck finding them. I ended up finding some mating Damsels, tried the manual focus on some pics, had some troubles, but still had a lot of fun.

    And lastly here is the bass that waited patiently for some dinner...and is still waiting! This was taken by my boyfriend who also shoots with a D60!

  2. Wow I have never seen so many in a row! You'll get the focus but you almost have to try some support. Handholding at 1/125 and F8 gives you no room for error at all. Maybe try boosting the iSO to get you a smaller aperature plus higher speed. You will get noise but I think you will see a big dif

  4. Ditto on threecats, you need support. You are shooting something small, you are crouched over, uncomfortable, sweaty, not ideal handholding conditions. You sure have some great subjects there!
