Went to a dance recital on Wednesday night brought along the D2H and the 70-200 VR. These were shot from about 8 rows back, the lighting was terrible accounting for very low shutter speeds and the need to shoot ISO 1600. The light was constantly changing making the WB very difficult.
I thought the D2H did well handling these conditions and the noise wasn't bad at all.

Outstanding job Mike. You spoke about the lighting challenges but you would never know it. Great captures!

Great shots!

Very nice framing and expressions, you captured the right moments. The clean background adds to the subject!

How much keepers did you have?
