Dandelion Seed-head

  1. I got a few minutes to grab a few shots this evening, this was one of my favourites. Hope you like it too.

    Very nice! I like the blue tint on the seed haeds and the almost-blown centres.
     
  3. That's about the coolest dandelion seed head photo I've ever seen!

    The dabs of OOF white over the center are incredible.

    The blobs are more seed heads - I was trying to get as narrow a depth of field as possible to draw attention to the centre and the outer hairs to the seeds. F/2.8 and 180/sec and a bit of PP to boot the white.

    My Sigma 150mm Macro and D70 still amaze me.
