I've just read another thread of whether to use a 70-200VR or a 300VR for airshows, and thought I might show some pictures taken with Nikons newest 70-300 VR. I found that it performed very well and was fast enough to focus on fast flying jets without problems.

Turkish Stars with their F-5 Tigers

    Next, 9 Danish F-16

Patrouille De France in Alpha Jets

Patrouille Swiss also flies the F-5

Italian Frecce Tricolore in their Aermacchi MB-339PAN

And finally a Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) A320 in Special colors

Nice work. Love the SAS shot. The 70-300VR is a superb value. My wife has one for her D50, and quite honestly I find myself grabbing it more than I realize.
