I found this pair in the park by my house. The Florida sun was not so kind!

I have stopped at Cape Coral and Brian Piccolo park so many times I know the feeling. I've found the best way is no sun. The harder part is getting a shot with no grass or other distractions. This usually requires lying down for the shot. The only good news is they rarely move so you have plenty of time.

Still cute as punch.
Thanks Allan!
Cute is an understatement...nicely done.
Thank you Bohdan!

Thanks Randy! Sometimes if I'm lucky I can find them standing on top of a fence. Next time I'll try the belly crawl!
Nice shot, Dossy. Definitely a bucket list bird for me.
Thank you Dan!
