I went out to the beach yesterday and it was very dark and overcast and got darker as it got closer to evening. I really like the effect on the pics and the mood.

    thanks for looking:smile:

2 this guy was clamming in front of these big waves crashing in

    3 token bird:smile:

    NIKON D300    ---    230mm    f/5.6    1/800s    ISO 1000

    4. I love the solitude of these two

    NIKON D300    ---    135mm    f/16.0    1/125s    ISO 1000

    NIKON D300    ---    155mm    f/16.0    1/100s    ISO 1000

5 this has an hdr treatment to enhance the darkness

  2. I, personally, like these a lot.
They're moody and different than the typical sun-shiney happy ocean pictures.
  3. Lisa, in my view #4 is the winner, as B/W intensifies the overall mood, I like the comparison of a small figure of the person and the magnitude of the ocean.
