day lilies shadow play

    Know normally you want full view of flower. However was trying to play around with side or rear sun shining through flowers to get different lighting effects. This group of three had best effect of what I was trying to get.

  2. That's an interesting look...really saturated/intense colors...notice your WB was on "shade"...maybe that also accounted for some of the color "look".. :)

    These are gorgeous Neil. I really like the look that you've captured. They are definitely different. :wink:

    MGlenn could be using shade setting had gone back several times to the location color of flowers is more towards gold rather than yellow. Most of the color shifting is from sun light shining through petal's.

    Thanks Frank sometimes it pays off to try something different.

    Favorite is "Cascading Daffodils 3" could spend hours looking at it.
