Thanks Karen...this time, I captured #7 shortly before sunset. Back in 2016, I was there just after sunrise. I think I preferred the sunrise light, but both worked.

During this trip to Des Moines, I arrived at one of the bridges at 5:30am for sunrise and the sun never broke through the haze--forest fires from the West. Then, my sunset shoot didn't materialize because the Women of Achievement bridge never lit that night. The joys of photography!

Then again, I caught other breaks along the way.

That staircase is located in the Des Moines Art Center. The Art Center is interesting from an architectural standpoint—the three wings are entirely different styles
