This is Judy, a homeless woman who lives on a heat grate, with all her possessions in the bundle-buggy, on Richmond Street, across the street from a large hotel, and only a few hundred yards from the city Hall, here in downtown Toronto.
This shot was taken on a very cold winter day when the freezing temperture and the wind chill made it feel like forty below. The way she sat, slumped over with her face hidden, pulling the blankets around her to try and stay warm in the bitter cold, spoke volumes about the utter despair of the hundreds of homeless people who live on our city streets.

I love shot like this. The reality of daily life. Compo is nice. Colors fits to the subject but I miss a little shapness.
