Sometimes I'm moved to do something weird. Maybe even crop out the trees?
The trees take away abit from this image IMHO. Cabin looks old, based on the crude chinking I would say it wa circa 1760. Where is it?
This is the Elijah Oliver house in Cades Cove, Smokies.
Here is the whole house.
Never say die. Without resorting to a fake background. I thought that just blurring the tree area might help. So,
On the whole the picture probably isn't worth the effort.
looks better to me and the pic of the whole house is really pretty cool.
I wouldn't say that. I like the shot but agree the blurring of the background helps to improve the shot. I also like the shot of the whole cabin. Cade's Cove is a beautiful place, isn't it?
Thanks Dave and Kevin.
Yes, Cade's Cove is a wonderful place. I would like to see it (and picture it) when the fall foliage is peaked. We have been there often in the spring and summer and almost made it there this fall, but the foliage was so late we gave up and came home(from Roanoke). You should see my pictures in the fog on Skyline Drive. Ha.
I like that house alot.
Suits my style :>)))
Glad to know that's your style Gale.
I didn't know they had hillbillies in Florida. LOL
