I bought Disk Warrior via download (CD coming in the mail). I installed it and put it in the utilties folder. When I go to run it... it cant "rebuild" the directory becuase I booted from the HD it is installed on.

I assume that the disk that is coming in the mail will allow me to boot from it... but is there a way I can create a bootable disk from what I downloaded already?? I really don't want to wait three days until the disk comes in the mail.

    Thanks guys...

I'm afraid you're going to have to wait. Could be worse - I had to wait for my copy to be shipped to the UK!

I never try create a bootup disk using CD or DVD but I had create a bootup drive from an external hard drive. Mount the external drive on your desktop and then select Startup Disk from System Preferences. Choose the external hard drive and that's it. I am still hunting for an old first generation iPod. It came with built in firewire port. Perfect to use as an emergency external bootup drive.
