Diving into the Red Dot World

Hi, I traded in one of the D7100s and a couple of lenses and a flash to help pay for the CL. So far there are no regrets. I will have the one D7100 plus the 55-300 DX and 200-500 for wildlife and birds. The CL is for general travel purposes. I also wanted to go mirrorless to lighten the load.

The current gear acquisition program is to next get the D500, then the 11-23 Sumicron. But that is over the next two years. Granted 2019 is just 4 months away.

Here are some of my 1st shots from Saturday. If weather improves, I will be out and about later today.

It really is. They roast the beans on site. The owner goes to the coffee plantations around the world to select beans. He and one of the lead baristas just got back from Kenya.

After coffee, I headed over to Glenwood Cemetery to see how the camera performed there. I must admit, that I am impressed with it. All are straight out of the camera jpg. I still need to select a processing package for the DNG files.
