I see it, but my wife doesn't. I don't see color very well, and my wife and I have noticed that we see differently things in photos.
Is your color vision normal?
nah...I don't see it...must be something wrong with your monitor.
Yep, I see what your talking about. The ripple that seperates the bill from the rest of the bird is what creates this effect as it gives the appearance as water being displaced from something (the beak) coming up and out of the water, when in fact its just a ripple that interupts the normal reflection.
Pretty cool...thanks for sharing with the rest of us.
Actually, that species of bird usually pairs up with an underwater partner. Nice catch on both of them. But seriously, I see that, and it's cool.
okay...the jigs up. I see it too and yes it does look very cool.

I see it too. Very nice indeed
That is cool, thanks for sharing it with us!!
I see it.
I hate to contribute to a thread hijacking....but....
I am colour blind/deficient and I can see it fine.
I see it...
Cool shot...!
I see it, pretty cool!
I see it
I see it no problem... Very cool and thanks for sharing
IS this untouched? It appears there are two, maybe three ripple lines that would go "through" the beak, but they are blocked by the beak. Only a physical object would do that, or the ripple lines have been photoshopped out and the beak redrawn. The other ripples distort the reflection of the birds body.
Its a cool shot though.
defintely see it here as well. the colors seem a little over saturated for my taste but i do love the framing and visual effect!
