Does a Sony XQD card reader work on CFExpress?

Looking at the CFExpress cards and wondering if the Sony XQD reader, works for the CF Express?

I have not.. I have rarely used my XQD card reader as my first Sony card failed while shooting and while Sony replaced it, I did not want to risk it happening again, but since the D500 now can take the CF Express, I was just wondering if someone knew since there are so many Z users out there.

I found an answer online: The existing Sony reader will not read CFExpress cards but they are releasing a new CFExpresss / XQD reader according to their website. Atech flash also has a CFExpress/XQD card reader that you can buy now.

Just to confirm NO it doesn't, I had to buy a new one.

BTW the Sony CFExpress reader is very fast and the Delkin is very good to but not quite as fast.

My Sony XQD cards and reader are blazingly fast, especially with Big Sur and the USB-c ports on my 2019 MBP. Long may they live!
