Does anyone use this or heard about this WG-AS3, look like a plastic rubber place in between d700 and sb-900 that is what they said, and wondering is this going to work on d700 with sb-800

Nikon site doesn't mention any compatibility with SB-800, just the 900.

I Know, all mention about it for sb-900, the weakest point in between the flash and the camera is the hotshoe part, wondering how the soft or strong is this rubber thing, can it be use as a support in between it? that I really want to find out too..

I did google it, and find some photo in Asia page...

    Anyone any idea?

And the WG stands for 'water guard', so I'm not sure it even gives all that much support.

I remember that one time when I doing wedding, I have to use electric tape to wrap around the hotshoe area to prevent water damage.... That so funny they actually make one now...
