  1. Hi guys,
Here are a few football images from Saturday. I did it a little differently this time. I shot in manual, along with some other settings that were shared with me by a very talented photographer. What do you think?

    Rolly -

You fooled me on this one. . I am a big Dolphin (NFL) fan and I read the title and I thought "Hey wait a minute - the Fins didn't play the Bucs". .

These are outstanding. It warms my heart to see the little ones wearing NFL style uni's. . .Too cute.

    Well done.

    I like that last one!
  4. Mini NFL League...Very nice:wink:
  5. LOL, I wish it had been true....Miami smoked New England today...

+0.67EV...looks like it allowed you to get some nice faces in the helmets. Nice pics.

  6. YEAH, I decided to get a little bold and not worry as much as usual about blowing out highlight. I am happy with the results. It also helped that I had Active DLighting on to combat the harsh florida lighting ( Mike Mac recommended that)
  7. nice shooting, Rolly
LOVE the "little" people in those "BIG" people uniforms

    well done

Well done Rolly, you caught some sweet action. Love the huge helmets on those small bodies.

Great shots Rolly. How did you get your readings to get the faces and not blow the white uniforms? It appeared to be a bright day.
  10. They look nice Rolly, seems as though you handled the harsh lighting rather well
  11. Mike, thank you for the help you gave me. I tried used both manual (you)and aperture (me) priority to get a feel for the difference. I think they both have there place depending on conditions. The best thing you pointed out to me was about using that active D, which I had never thought to mess with. I also pushed the sharpness to 8.

    Thank you again mike.

  12. Ron, you know the florida sun. BRUTAL! I hope to see some of your work soon.
