Doug Barber on PBase Magazine - A different Doug Barber though

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by Panos Kazanelis, Oct 18, 2005.

  1. CORRECTION: The author I was too excited to believe is the Doug Barber we all know, turned out to be another photog.
Fancy that, two great photogs with the same name...!!!

    Well done Doug!
Very much agree on your One Rule...

    Thanks Panos,
I downloaded that a couple of days ago and forgot to post it here ...

    Doug is good stuff. :>)))

  3. Congratulations Doug! I can't wait to read it. BTW, how does pbase choose a person for their magazine?

    A job well done

uhh, guys? That's no "our" Doug Barber, that's a different Doug Barber. If you had actually read the article, esp his bio at the beginning, you'd see he's from Maryland, not Canada.

  5. Will the Real... Doug Barber Please Stand up...

This is a Hell of a thing to wake up to first thing in the morning....(before coffee)
I actually downloaded that copy a few days ago as I wanted to read the thing on Chuck.
Did not notice the article on "Doug Barber" at all. Darn you would think I would be at least smart enough to notice my own name...

I have received mail from (this) Doug Barber on a couple occasions and he seems like a GOOD GUY... so I guess being a "Good Guy" just comes with the name...lol

Anyway.... Thanks to the people who actually thought what I do was good enough to stand in (this) Doug Barber's shoes....

  7. Well, I've read the article but was too excited I guess to start investigating the origin and looks of the author… although I was a bit disappointed not to see the splendid torch light photo painting technique…

Oh well, I’ll double Paul’s offer for a NC article…
