Down by the Stream at Dusk

  1. Two sets- the blue tint was 'as shot' the others have the wb corrected. Which do you prefer?

    these are great shots

    i prefer the corrected ones, i suppose
    the "natural" blue tint makes the images appear somewhat CARTOONISH, to me
    like some CGI captures
    not a bad thing, at all

    i really like them both

    I like the blue more than the corrected.
     
  4. The natural set for me--they have such rich colors. Though, the blue water is neat!

    Jeff,

    When I suggest that the color balance is "off", the photographer often replies, "That's the way I like it."* So, let me ask you, "Which way do you prefer?"

    [Just for the record, I'm not fond of blue trees and water.]

    *Some folks mean that they don't know how to correct it, but that's obviously not the case for you.:smile:
     
  6. Interesting effect with the blue but I prefer the real color. Nice long exposures. Good tripod :wink:
