This is the same dragonfly as I shot before, just a different view. I love their little faces. I could imagine them as a cartoon character. I wish I could have got this a little sharper but I was using the 70 - 300 and I think I was at 300.

They look like they are smiling at you don't they? I'm looking forward to photographing these later this summer.

They do look like they are smiling. I think they are very pretty little creatures.

    Thank you.

He sat there for about 10 minutes which is very unusual. He also kept turning, allowing me to photograph him from different angles. I just wish I was closer.

    Great shot, Yvette.
  7. This pointing position is typical of a dragonfly that is trying to cool down. It is keeping the angle of its' body to the sun at an acute an angle as possible.
