This was enhanced in PS... :>)))
Beautiful shot. We only get the nice sunsets on this side of the state.
Can we see the colors of the original? I'm curious what you did with PS.
Nice Gale - the enhancement makes it very dramatic indeed. I like it lots.
Nice shot, Gale! Looks like the sky is on fire and the bird silhouette is a nice touch.
OHHHHH Mitch you really do not want to see the origingal :>))) hahahhahaa
Grabbed this on my way into work with settings from I don't remember when. Manual, and all set wrong :>))
Not what I saw for sure.
Thank you for your nice words.
I changed everything in NC saturation, tone comp, color boost. PS, more saturation in the red and PWL (paint with light) added a more red tone.
Thank You very much..
Are you sure I did not over cook this one to much..
It sure looks vibrant and I really like it. However open to suggestions for sure.
Thank You Don,
Boy I did just catch that bird....I was happy with that. He kinda snuck up while I was focusing on the sky. So just hit the shutter and got lucky.
At 110 mm with the 24-120 VR.
Thank You very much.
Think I should have it printed.
There you go again, making me want to hit the "buy" button. Very nice Gale.
The 24-120 is a great walk around lens. Especially when I just can't hold a heaver anything cause I am worn out and arms and wrists hurt.
Just nice to cruise the zoo or a craft fair, when you just don't want to lug stuff around.
It is also a fast lens.
Not as expensive as all the rest of the lenses. Nikon hit this one pretty good I think.
Thank You Dave
somehow I get the feeling that you get the best out of any lens. Use what you like and are comfortible carrying.
You are just to kind.
I like it Gale, walk around a bit more and keep these posted!
Well thank you Hans,
So nice of you to stop by.
Have a great Fathers Day
Very well done, Gale! What I don't understand is why the bird is still alive
Well Gale, you have certainly caught a dramatic sky with this image. Way to go.
He got out just i time :>))
Thank you gordon,
This was a brilliant sky to begin with.. Just had to enhance it.
Hope I did not overcook it to much :>)))))
they loved it at work.. The larger image looks much better and smoother.
This net version doesn't to to much justice.
Would like to see it printed.
Wow, wouldya look at those colors! NICE!
OK, I've missed something somewhere...here's a dumb question, what's a roadrunner, other than a car and a funny looking bird?
what is faster than a road runner...????
70-200 VR VR VR
focuse faster than I can hit the shutter.
Every seem to have a label for lenses..
So here we have the RR......
thank you for the nice comment.. Yep fire sky !!!!
     Cute nickname! And if you use your imagination, you can hear that road runner revving up....vr,vr, vrrrrrrrrrrrrr
