My son and I were out and about for awhile Saturday. If you know anything about Houston, you will know we covered quite a bit of ground.

Nice set J. Classier murals than many and an unusual pose for the first statue. Last one raised a smile.

I had noticed the murals on google maps street view while doing some on line recon of the area we were going to be in. Fortunately, they were still there. It is not uncommon for them to be repainted. I got to agree about the pose. The unprocessed photo had the full statue leaning against the monument. I cropped it out as I try to exclude the names. The bear on wheels has been near the zoo for years. I cannot remember when it was placed there.
