You'll surely notice that every photo has a particular detail in common.

Has anybody seen those great images yet?.. Amazing set Mike. They look so cool in B&W and they also remind me the bottom parts of your broken wine glasses . It is not difficult to guess the common detail which is the droplet.

I am always fascinated by the lines and detail I see in black and white that I overlook in color.
The flying droplet is a nice common theme.
These are terrific. You have the technique down, it’s fun watching you play with the more interesting art component.

That's strange. I remember answering here.

Perhaps my post was erased because I said these shapes looked like some lifeforms snapping after the droplet
That and also that this is an amazing series in b&w, Mike!
Stunning work!

Thank you to Binnur, Gary, Bart, Dan, Andy and Bill!

A good friend told me the same thing today.

The liquid is water colored with green ink. It has exactly the same photographic properties as transparent or translucent green glass. The lighting setup -- a background of translucent vellum lit from behind -- would light the glass exactly the same as it lit the liquid in these photos. Lots of fun whether the subject is liquid or glass!
