Tough mid day light
slipping one in LOW
Great action, not very sharp but great captures
I agree with Eric..great acton...really tough lighting...What was EV at -.3 ?
For my track shots I had to go to -0.7 to help with the bright lighting..
I know it my shots were at a different time of day but just wondering if that
would have helped...
Have you ever tried a CPL filter ? I have one but don't use it much ..I may try it
just to see this week if we get some consistant sun aroud these parts.
EV was at -.3 will give a try at -0.7 next time to see if that helps 3pm game high sun having to pretty much shot in to it to get any shots on the offensive side of field
Yeah, white uniforms at midday= nightmare. Good action sequences though.
If you are shooting in RAW I think it is better to have a slightly darker image to start and then adjust in pp....That way you can control the whites a little better..
tighten the crops
watch the highlites
i wouldn't have posted 4&6, nothing worth seeing
i also prefer to see the ball in more shots
i would not recommend a cpl filter for sports
shoot raw and keep lowering ev until you get the histogram off the rt wall
Great look at the defenders eye contact with the offense in #5.
In tough lighting, I will general shoot in manual mode after metering for the highlights or shadows depending on the situation.
Thanks Randy Except for the face off shot the ball is in everystick pictured
the little white thing flying thruogh the air in #6 is a lacrosse ball going past the goalie lower right corner
