DX body's and AF

Are all the new body's AF-S only to get AF? Or is there any of them that will AF with my older lenses?

Many consumer releases are such...the D7K however, will AF with the D's

D40, D60, D3000, D3100, D3200, D5000 and D5100 all need an AF-S lens to AF.

All other bodies will AF with the older AF-D lenses.

I'm familiar with them up to the D200 and D2X, thats about when i quit photography. Trying to get back into it some. And reading the specs aren't helping me figure this stuff out lol

I'm pretty sure Canon has always had focus motors in all there AF lenes.

On Nikon's website, next to "Lens Compatibility at a Glance," each body is listed as working either with AF-S only or with both AF-S and AF.
