Eagle Pair

  1. Eagle pair were active this morning. They have to be close to laying eggs. D850, Nikkor 200-500VR lens handheld. Incidentally, I finally have all the stuff needed to run the EN-EL18b battery and get the expensive, two extra frames per second. I filled the buffer this morning a couple times because I could hear the camera shutter actually slowing perceptively. Great shots. I brought my 80-400 by mistake last year - I hope I remember the 200-500 this year.

I ordered my grip in September from B&H. It is still backordered. I hope to get it by the end of January.
  3. These are beauties! Nice shooting.
  4. Allan, I bought mine from B&H too and it was backordered forever, but I got it about one week ago, only to find out that I also needed a BL-5 battery chamber cover to hold the EN-EL18b battery, so if you don't have one, go ahead and order it, B&H has them in stock for under 25.00.
  5. Thank you Nick.
  6. Hey Mitch, thank you.

These shots really show off your skill and the 200-500. The 200-500 against a blue sky looks like one of the exotic big boys. The price point is unbelievable
  13. Randy, I have a Nikkor 600/f4 and have had it out of the house just one time sine I bought the 200-500. I'm in awe of the lens and it's handhold able. Just can't practically use a TC on it.
  14. Killer shots Ron, superb detail and very nice action shots you've captured. Well done.

Reggie, your skill set is superb! These images are breathtaking, especially the last one posted. I am on the cusp of buying the 200-500 VR lens after renting one this past weekend. I think your images sealed the deal! Now I have to hone my craft to equal your technique.
  17. Crystal clear, enjoyed looking at them.
  18. Excellent set of images.

Excellent work!!!! Each one is special. I especially like the image with the eagle carrying nesting material!
