Eagle portraits

  1. I have not the fortune of seeing these in the nature, but on the other hand I could look at them quite close.

    A white tailed eagle

    Can anyone ID this? I unfortunately forgot it. Looks quite angry...

    I don't know how this one is called in English. The direct translation would be something like "big sea eagle" whereas the first pic shows a "plain" "sea eagle".

  3. I think the third one is a Steller's sea eagle (Haliaeetus pelagicus).
    Several zoos have young pairs as part of a breeding programme. They are spectacular now in plain dark brown plumage, but when they are fully adult they will have fantastic black and white plumage.
