I haven't been on here in ages. All my time has been taken up preparing lessons and curriculum for hybrid learning where I teach. But, this past week I took several days off for me. The eagle action in my normal haunts has been slow to nonexistent for several years. I had heard good things about this place. So, I gave it a try. I am pretty rusty and the shooting requires different technique than I was used to. But, I got enough acceptable images to make a new gallery on my Zenfolio site. Here are a few. I'll post some fishing sequence shots later.

Well done, hopefully was not crowded with photogs like other nearby areas.

Very nice pictures.
Focus and colors spot on.
Well done.???
Thanks.

Thanks, Wade. It wasn't too bad. There was enough room for people to spread out.
Looks like you had some fun and got some nice shots, Aaron!
Thanks, Karen. It was much needed fun.
Nice BIF. I like the position in 3 best.
Thanks, Allan. I shot hundreds in my 2 outings. I had trouble picking favorites so I put 70 on my Zenfolio site!

Nice job staying on target against some difficult BGs. Not so easy to do when one is out of practice. Well done.

Nicely done.
Thanks, Louis.

It took a couple of passes to ease back into things. The biggest issue was how close the action was. I am used to birds being quite a distance away. The river is quite narrow here and the 500 f/4 was too much at times. But, I didn't like the results I was getting from the 200-500.
